Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Telekomplex collects through telekomplex.net, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and the choices you have. We collect as little as the site needs to answer you, and nothing to follow you.
1. Who we are
telekomplex.net is operated by Telekomplex LLC, a company based in Seattle, Washington, United States (“Telekomplex”, “we”). Postal address: 2226 East Lake Ave E #1396, Seattle, WA 98102, United States.
For anything about this policy or your information, write to contact@telekomplex.net.
2. What this policy covers
It covers the public website telekomplex.net, its forms and its partner tools. It does not cover the Telekomplex contractor platform, which has its own terms for the people who use it, or other websites we link to.
3. What we collect, and why
- When you ask us to contact you. The consultation and sample-profile forms collect your name, email address, company, phone number (optional), your message and, for sample profiles, the specialty you need and any job description you attach. We use them to answer your request and to follow up on it.
- When you request a firewall review. The firewall review request form collects your name, work email, company and country, whether the review is for your company or for a client, and the technologies you use. If you choose to give them, it also collects your role, phone number, company website, approximate number of firewalls or sites, main need, priority, known models and versions, how your team could support the review and any context you add. We also keep the page you came from, the campaign tags of the link you followed (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content and utm_term), and the date and wording of the authorization you gave us. We use them to manage your request, to agree on the scope of the review with you and to contact you about it, and we email you a confirmation with its reference. Your authorization covers contact about this request only: it does not authorize scans, access to your systems, testing or configuration changes, which are agreed separately with your organization's authorized representative.
- When you apply for a role. The careers form collects your name, email address, phone number (optional), LinkedIn profile (optional), your message and your CV. We use them to assess your application. If your profile fits current or future work, our operations team may add your CV to our talent pool, where it is used to match you with engagements.
- With every form. We record the IP address the form was sent from and the date, to protect the forms against abuse and fraud. Files you upload are scanned for malware before they are stored.
- When you use our partner tools. The AI security assessments and the AI policy builder run entirely in your browser. Your answers, names, logos and the documents you generate are not sent to us or stored by us. When you download a report or a policy, the page sends us only the name of the tool and the format, to count how often each is used — nothing that identifies you or what you entered.
- When you browse the site. We count page views per day, which pages were viewed and, when you arrive from another website, that website's domain (for example linkedin.com). These counts contain no IP address, cookie or identifier and cannot be linked to you. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, you are not counted at all.
- Technical logs. Like every web server, ours records each request — IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time — to keep the site secure and working. These logs are kept for 14 days and are used only for security and troubleshooting.
4. Cookies
The site sets one cookie, csrftoken, on pages with a form. It is a security measure that stops other websites from submitting forms in your name, and it is strictly necessary for the forms to work. We use no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and no third-party scripts.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
We rely on a small number of service providers that process it on our behalf, under contract and only for the purposes above: Contabo GmbH, which hosts our servers in France; Microsoft, whose email service delivers notifications of your requests to our team; and Google, which stores our encrypted backups. Information about job applicants may be shared with the partner company that would be the client of an engagement, only with the applicant's knowledge.
We may disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety and security of Telekomplex, our users or others.
6. Where it is stored
The site and its data are hosted on servers in France, in the European Union. Encrypted backups are stored with Google. Our team, located in the United States and Latin America, accesses the information from there. Where information crosses borders, we protect it as described in this policy.
7. How long we keep it
- Contact and sample-profile requests: 24 months after our last exchange, then deleted.
- Firewall review requests: 24 months after our last exchange, then deleted.
- Job applications: 24 months, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. A CV added to our talent pool is kept while you remain in it; you can ask to be removed at any time.
- IP addresses recorded with forms: 90 days.
- Technical logs: 14 days.
- Backups: Encrypted copies are kept for up to 12 months, then destroyed; information deleted from the site disappears from backups as they expire.
8. How we protect it
Information travels over HTTPS. Access to it is limited to the people at Telekomplex who need it, with individual accounts and two-factor authentication. Uploaded files are scanned for malware, sensitive fields in our platform are encrypted, and backups are encrypted before they leave the server. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the information we hold.
9. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it for a particular purpose, and you can withdraw an application at any time. Write to contact@telekomplex.net; we may need to confirm who you are before acting, and we will answer within 30 days.
Depending on where you live, data-protection laws may give you further rights, including the right to complain to a supervisory authority. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of them.
10. Children
telekomplex.net is a business website for companies and professionals. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
11. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when what we collect or how we use it changes. The date at the top shows the latest version; significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
